Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before your first run.

Is Challengger free?
Yes. Challengger is free to download on iOS and Android, and you can create and join challenges at no cost.
What devices does it work on?
Any modern iPhone or Android phone. GPS tracking runs on your phone, so you don't need a running watch or any extra hardware to get started. Prefer to run with a watch? We support Garmin devices and Apple Watch too — just connect and your runs sync across automatically.
How do club challenges work?
Create a challenge at club scope and invite your club to take part, or set up a Club vs Club challenge to compete head-to-head against a rival. The other club receives an invitation and the challenge starts once they accept.
Can I challenge friends who don't have the app yet?
Send them an invite link. They join your challenge as soon as they download Challengger and create an account.
